Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's bout.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
